“Hlybini” in the Belarusian language means “depths”. In the context of this CD I mean the deep corners of the human soul or something that touches us deeply (for me that’s often music).
I was 8 years old when I started playing the accordion and since that time I have spent thousands of hours with my instrument; practicing, rehearsing, performing, and recording. I have always tried to express through music our rich and different life. Sometimes it went well and sometimes not, but I always tried to do my best, to give all of myself to the sound and to you, my dear listener.
Everything started in the Belarusian town of Baranavichy. I was very lucky to have great teachers who adored music and children so much. I am thankful that they were at the beginning of my musical path.
Now, my dear listener, I would like to invite you to join me for some part of this musical journey. We will go (and sometimes fly) through different universes of reality and fantasy, through Belarus and other countries, through storm and calmness, light and dark, tragedy and happiness - but always sincerely, with an open heart.
